There are four repayment plans for federal scholar loans by which a borrower may get some of their unpaid student loans forgiven: earnings-based mostly repayment (IBR), income-contingent reimbursement (ICR), Pay As You Earn (PAYE) and Revised Pay As You Earn (REPAYE).
